Stephanie & Maxwell – Intimate Moody Winter Wedding

We’re loving the winter weddings we got to be a part of this last year! Those deep moody wedding tones are like magic. 🙌 If you’re looking for a wedding venue to lean into those moody colours, the Grand Hotel in Carleton Place is the space for you.

The suites in the Grand Hotel can be totally booked out for guests. The bride, Stephanie, had a large suite on the 2nd floor and it was the perfect space to get ready in. There was bright light, a sitting room for all your friends, a large bathroom, and a lot of tabletop space.

If you love first reveals, Stephanie’s bridesmaids were so excited to see her for the first time!

Moody Wedding Vibes

S + M chose reds and blacks to compliment the season. Natural foliage was designed by Riverwood Gardens to enhance the vintage character of the venue’s beautiful rooms! The moody vibe was felt as soon as the day became a little darker and we moved into the ceremony and reception rooms. We LOVE this kind of style!

Hint: it involves live music, handcrafted ornament favours, a rustic apple cinnamon flavoured cake with rosemary accents, and caricatures. So much fun!
