On International Women’s Day 2020, a group of creative souls got together to create this beautiful rustic elegance inspired wedding shoot. With some earth tones, dusty blues and pinks, combined with a gorgeous backdrop, we hope you can find some inspiration for your own celebration. Winter weddings can be nice and spring-y too! For instance, including a mix of light and bright colours creates an uplifting palette.
This BEAUTIFUL bouquet and the arch florals (and the flower crown below) were made by the talented Planted Arrow. They complemented the invitation suite designed by Daisy Designs so well!
The venue we shot at was the Cumberland Belle just east of downtown Ottawa. Isn’t that just so magical? In the warmer months, ceremonies can be held outside in the courtyard to the left of the building. On the other hand, you can use the inside of the Belle during all seasons.
Classic vintage elements were included with the pearl earrings from Sugarcane & Co. and the lace wedding gown from Sinders Bridal House.
Absolutely stunning design on the cake – head over to the Art of Cake for your event cake needs! Rustic Engagements provided the excellent arch, charger plates, napkins, faux table greenery and candles/lanterns. These all came together in a rustic elegance feel – it’s almost like a fairytale!
