Whimsical Garden Wedding | Tea Party Styled Shoot

When I was a kid, I used to watch Alice in Wonderland (Martin Short, Tina Majorino, Ben Kingsley version of course) over and over and over again. I was obsessed! I read and reread the book by Lewis Carol at least 2-3 times a year. So it came as no surprise when Deanna of Deanna Way Photography approached me about collaborating together again for a bright and colourful shoot, I said yes! The initial garden party shoot idea evolved to become what you see today – a whimsical garden tea party inspired wedding hosted at the beautiful Armstrong Estate.

The Colours

Pantone orange, candy pink, and bright + cornflower blue. Allycia, owner of AM Floral Studio, took the colour palette and created such a fun whimsical floral arrangement for the bouquet, her art deco arch, and for the tablescape + pillars. Complemented by the beautiful Valeriya dress at Revelle Bridal, and the navy suit from Mario Uomo we were ecstatic with the overall feel!

Shayna of Tunie’s Sweet Shop took the whimsical inspiration and baked a delicious cake as well as many pastries to fill the table! They were all mouthwatering. 😍

We asked Tammy, owner of Daisy Designs, to create something to fit the colour palette and garden tea party aesthetic and although she was crazy busy at the time, she delivered such a pretty stationery suite!
