Talya & Ryan – Rustic Farmhouse Wedding

You’re getting married! (Alpaca wedding hat) 😂

Hahaha we just had to throw an alpaca pun in there, since there were a number of them hanging out during Talya and Ryan’s rustic fall wedding! They had their wedding at the Davalon Healing Centre where there a number of therapy horses, goats, and alpacas. It turned out to be a GORGEOUS fall day, with bright sunshine and warm weather.

Getting Ready For Their Rustic Farmhouse Style Ceremony

The groom’s side got ready in the farmhouse style cabin that was to be used for the ceremony space while the bride got ready offsite. While we were setting up and getting ready, it was actually drizzling and we thought it would totally downpour. The chairs were already set up, so we propped up the cushions and I watched the rain cloud on the weather app like a hawk. The stars aligned and it didn’t end up raining on us – and the sun came out fully and created SUCH a beautiful backdrop!

When asked who had a crush on who first, Talya gave a little grin and fessed up. 😛 These two wanted first and foremost, to get married to each other, and then secondly, for their guests to have SO much fun! They included elements like lawn games, a white chapel bouncy castle from Runamok Amusements, games to play during dinner like Play that Tune! and couple’s trivia, and brought in 2 food trucks – the Smoque Shack for dinner and Merry Dairy for dessert!

Talya and Ryan also were super excited to have a piñata to hit as an activity for their guests! One of the bridesmaid’s painstakingly DIY’d this super sturdy piñata pictured below. Dannielle, the officiant and owner of Davalon, helped us create a DIY rope hold on the wedding day using rope they use for their therapy horses. For the look of absolute joy trying to smash the piñata, keep scrolling further down! 🙂

Various rustic decor was used to compliment the beautiful wood harvest tables, like half whiskey barrels for drinks, faux eucalyptus with lanterns, and string lights in the tent.

Guests definitely enjoyed having the food truck provide delicious comfort food. 🤤
