How to Incorporate Pets into Your Wedding Day

Pets are not just pets, they are family. They will always be there for you and show unconditional love at any given moment. What a treat it can be to celebrate your special day with your pets! Here are some ways you can incorporate your pets into your wedding day.

Get Ready Together

Your pets getting ready with you on your special day will create the most adorable photographs and exciting atmosphere. Have them in their own little robes that match yours or them being groomed the same time you are in hair and makeup.

Have Your Pet Walk Down the Aisle

If your venue allows pets (we recommend you check beforehand), have your pet walk down the aisle at one point before the ceremony begins. Make sure to have someone in charge of your pet so they behave and don’t run off or cause any mischief.

Ring Bearer

Can’t find anyone to be your ring bearer? An adorable option can be your pet. Dress them in a matching bowtie or dress, with a small pillow attached on their backs. Make sure the rings are secured well just in case they see a bird or squirrel!

Include Them in Your Registry

Your pets will be a part of your new family after your special day, so why not include them in your registry? Make sure you select pet friendly and safe toys, treats, and accessories. Your furry friend will thank you and be very excited.

Pet Stationery & Decor

Your pets may not be able to attend your wedding, but they can be certainly be present in many other ways. Whether it’s on the invitations, a photo to carry around throughout the day, or little figurines on the reception tables.  Our friend Chelsea spray painted cat figurines for the name cards at her wedding and had the signature cocktails named after her two kitties! Another client of ours did the signature cocktail sign with her dogs. See the photo below!

Cake Topper

Your pets can add an extra splash of cuteness with a bride, groom, and pet figurine on top of your cake or other desserts. Your guests will love. You can always get your fur baby their dog safe treats for the reception as well.
