Size Inclusive Ottawa Bridal Boutique

Looking ahead, Abby and her sister Lizzie are set to unveil Always Knew I Needed, a luxury bridal boutique opening in Ottawa in June 2025. This new venture aims to provide made-to-order wedding gowns from Canadian designers, emphasizing size inclusivity and a welcoming environment for all.

I started NKIN in 2019 while still in University and over the years have grown a small Etsy store into what we call our “One Stop Wedding Shop.” Our mission is to create unforgettable and seamless wedding experiences by providing a comprehensive range of unique services and one of a kind products so that every couple can say they found something they “Never Knew I Needed” 

Fun fact: NKIN exploded in Ottawa before I finished my Marketing degree in Toronto. While opening NKIN, my last course was moved from online to in-person. For four months,  I would take the train Monday mornings, go to my 2 hour lecture, & take the train home to Ottawa Monday night in order to run my company and still graduate.
