Dory & Matt – Intimate Autumn Wedding

Dory and Matt’s intimate autumn wedding was filled with fun moments that were special to the bride and groom. There was handmade decor, star wars poses, individual cupcakes for guests to take home, and elements of gold and red to represent lucky Chinese wedding colours.

They were able to get their friends and family involved throughout the process! One of the bridesmaids made the to go cupcakes, their pastor officiated their ceremony, and the groomsmen and Matt’s sister even brought star wars accessories for photos.

These tones complimented the fall backdrop perfectly! Reasons why having an intimate autumn wedding is a good idea:

The fall leaves are beautiful with their reds + yellows + oranges so you have an instant backdrop

While it was pretty chilly that particular weekend, the weather cooperated and there was a mix of sun and cloud and they were able to take some fun photos by the water in Vincent Massey Park. There were some amazing views in the forest with the colour changing to vibrant reds and oranges.

Another wonderful thing about autumn photos is the ability to layer. Dory could wear her leather jacket over her dress for some photos and they turned out so cool!
